Glyn Derw High School, Ely, well alight as blaze tackled

Emergency services rush to tackle a blaze at a disused Cardiff school that was well alight.

Arsonists have been blamed for starting the fire at the old Glyn Derw High School in Ely, which broke out at about 22:00 BST on Thursday.

At the peak of the fire, 55 firefighters were at the site.

No one is believed to have been hurt and an investigation is set to take place after damping down has been completed on Friday.
