Life's a drag for Llandudno's lifeboat

Life really is a drag for the current RNLI all-weather lifeboat in Llandudno.

For decades, crews have had to drag it through the town to launch.

That's set to change with work starting on a new £2.6m boathouse on North Shore in the Victorian resort town in Conwy county.

Volunteer operations manager Capt Marcus Elliot explains the challenge they currently face - as this archive footage shows.
