Capsized kayaker rescued from rocks near Tenby

Dramatic scenes have been caught on camera as two RNLI lifeboats came to the rescue of a capsized kayaker off the Pembrokeshire coast.

A local fishing boat spotted the stricken man swimming towards rocks below West Moor cliff, Tenby, and stood by while a lifeboat picked him up.

Rescue helicopter 187 from St Athan winched the casualty up and then landed him on Freshwater East beach.

He was flown to Withybush Hospital, accompanied by a paramedic.
