Battle of Jutland remembered in Wales
The centenary of the Battle of Jutland which claimed thousands of British sailors' lives has been commemorated in Wales.
It was the only major sea battle of World War One, in which 6,097 British and 2,551 German servicemen died.
Scores of Welsh sailors took part, with every county suffering losses.
A national service of remembrance was held at Orkney, attended by the British prime minister and German president.
Smaller services were also held across Wales - including at the Anglesey port town of Holyhead.
