Doubts cyclist Becky James would compete at Rio, says dad
There were doubts over whether Olympic silver medal winning-cyclist Becky James would ride her bike again after injury, her father said.
Speaking after his daughter's success in the keirin event in Rio, David James said returning to form on the track after a knee injury in 2014 was a slow process for her.
"Even in January we didn't think she would probably get back competitively," he said.
Mr James, of Abergavenny, described James' success at the Games so far as "unbelievable".
