Skateboarding head injuries preventable, says charity

A brain injury charity in Wales has said helmets should be compulsory for all children who are cycling or skateboarding.

Headway said the number of people being injured could be cut if this was introduced.

Emma Fairthorne, a mother from Pembrokeshire, has launched a campaign for new helmet laws after a skateboard accident left her daughter Georgia in an induced coma.

Nick Palit reports.
