Aber Uni study into how light affects butterflies

They are one of nature's great sources of colour - but how do butterflies see light and hue?

It is one secret that scientists at the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberystwyth University are trying to unlock.

Butterflies see a broader spectrum of light than humans and the team wants to know how it affects their behaviour in the wild and in captivity.

Dr Rachel de Vere, of the botanic garden, explains how the study could help.
