Wales football stars set for movie debut

The Wales football team's journey to the 2016 European Championship semi-finals has been made into a film.

Don't Take Me Home, named after the anthem of Welsh football fans in France, premieres in Cardiff on Wednesday before general release in cinemas across the UK on Friday.

The sports documentary, the brainchild of Welsh director Jonny Owen, immortalises the story of how the Wales football team overcame the death of their former manager Gary Speed to reach a semi-final of their first major tournament for almost 60 years.

Cinemas in Wales have sold out so movie theatres have added extra capacity as Welsh football fans want to reminisce about that memorable summer in France.
