Mrs Orangeleaf animation helps 'healing process' for veterans
An animated adventure depicting life in the armed forces has been used to help the "healing process" for many veterans.
Pierre Cornlouer, from Tredegar, spent 30 years in the Navy, serving in the Falklands, the Gulf and Bosnia.
He came up with the idea of writing about the adventures - based on a ship at sea - to try and explain to his daughter what life in the forces was like.
Mr Cornlouer is now a chaplain, working with veterans who find it hard to adjust to life after leaving the armed forces
He decided to turn his book into an animated adventure and radio play.
It is voiced by Falklands veteran Simon Weston and 40 other ex-servicemen and women
Mr Cornlouer said being part of the process has helped many of them.
