Bridgend house move 'mainly location not price'

The average house price in Wales is now higher than in 2007 before the slump caused by the financial crisis, according to a new index by the Principality.

The average price in Wales is £174,319 compared with a peak of £170,142 in October of 2007.

Kyle Buckley and Natalie Davies moved house from Maesteg across the county to Bridgend to be closer to the M4.

The couple told BBC Wales' business correspondent Brian Meechan the process was glitch-free and they managed to sell their old home within a couple of days.
