Six Syrian families have held a cultural event to thank a Powys community for welcoming them to their town.

The occasion, complete with traditional Syrian dancing and food, was held at the Miners' Welfare Hall in Ystradgynlais.

The number of Syrian refugees resettled in Wales has reached at least 397, according to figures from the Home Office.
