Operation Julie: The house that was once an LSD factory

More than 40 years ago Sue Marsh’s house was occupied by a criminal gang who were brought to justice in what remains one of the world's biggest ever counter-drug operations.

Operation Julie involved more than 800 officers from 10 forces and brought down criminals who supplied up to 90% of the UK's LSD market.

Now a former undercover detective has said he believes a large stash of the drug is buried in nearby woods.

BBC Newsnight’s Stephen Smith is given a tour of Ms Marsh’s house in Carno, Powys – and hears about potential “treasure hunters”.
