Cardiff man takes plunge to swim full length of Severn
Endurance swimmer Ross O'Sullivan has begun an epic 220 mile (354km) swimming challenge.
The Irish wild swimmer, who lives in Cardiff, is hoping to swim the entire length of the River Severn in just 20 days.
The 25-year-old engineer began his journey on Wednesday by starting with a 50 mile (80km) hike from the river's source in Llanidloes on the Welsh border.
