Two Welsh tourists' clue in Crete walker hunt

Police from north Wales helping in the search for a missing Denbigh pensioner in Crete want to track down two Welsh tourists who visited the Greek island.

Arthur Jones, 73, from Denbighshire, has not been seen since 19 June, two days after he arrived in Crete.

The officers found Mr Jones's name in a visitors' book from the day before he disappeared, written just before two Welsh tourists signed it.

They hope Mr Jones might have spoken to them of his plans for a walking tour.

Aled Hughes sent this report from Crete.
