MPs Alun Cairns and Owen Smith in pre-Budget debate
Pontypridd Labour MP Owen Smith, one of Labour's treasury team, and Alun Cairns, Conservative MP for the Vale of Glamorgan, discuss what might happen in this week's budget.
Speaking to Vaughan Roderick on Sunday Supplement, they consider the likelihood of cutting the 50p tax rate and what they want to happen to fuel duty.
Mr Smith began by saying the proposed tax cut reflected the coalition government's priority to "cut taxes for the richest 1%".
