BBC's head of political research analyses plans to cut MPs' seats in Wales
The BBC's head of political research analyses plans to reduce the number of parliamentary constituencies in Wales by a quarter.
David Cowling said under the legislation every constituency in the UK had to be broadly the same size, with between 73,000 and 80,000 electors.
But at the last General Election the average size of a Welsh constituency was 57,000.
He was interviewed by Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales.
