Boards without women 'miss a trick', Dame Rosemary Butler says
Organisations which have boards without women on them are missing a big trick, assembly presiding officer Dame Rosemary Butler has said.
She was speaking as the Women in Democracy Caucus - a group of AMs which she leads - called for organisations with all-male boards to be barred from receiving government grants or contracts worth over £250,000.
The Welsh government said banning companies from procurement processes would be illegal.
The group also wants extra support for women AMs and more women experts on TV and radio.
