Polluted road an absolute disgrace, says Islwyn MP

A Welsh MP has called for action from the prime minister to get hauliers to use newer diesel engines and cleaner technology to reduce air pollution.

Chris Evans' constituency of Islwyn, in Caerphilly county, includes Hafodyrynys Road in Crumlin, dubbed the most polluted road outside of London.

Theresa May said the government will be bringing forward proposals on air quality.
