Hamilton: UKIP Michelle Brown meeting not significant

A meeting to discuss the future of UKIP AM Michelle Brown had "no constitutional significance", UKIP's assembly leader Neil Hamilton has said.

The North Wales AM is to face a vote of no confidence among party members across north Wales, following the meeting.

But Mr Hamilton said Ms Brown had his "full support", branding the meeting "the "culmination of a long and bitter campaign".
