James Colton: Sister haunted by missed cancer death

The sister of a killer whose cancer was missed by prison medical staff and died just two days after diagnosis has said his death haunts her.

Hayley Colton told BBC Wales the image of her brother, James, from Swansea, looking like an "old man" in the hours before he died will stay with her forever.

She was speaking after a jury returned a narrative conclusion into the 34-year-old's death.

Colton was serving a life sentence for the murder of his friend in 2012.

He had complained of back pain for months and died two days after being transferred to hospital from Long Lartin prison in Worcestershire.

Ms Colton spoke about the last time she saw him.
