Cardiff City fan on Leeds boycott over ticket numbers

There will be no Cardiff City fans at Elland Road for its club's game against Leeds United, after the club boycotted the match because it was offered just 500 tickets.

Tony Jefferies, a long time Cardiff fan and travel organiser for away matches, told BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales programme he felt Leeds United was "still living in the 60s and the 70s".

Leeds United said it was disappointed there would be no Cardiff supporters at Saturday's game.

The club said in a statement: "Leeds United have consulted with West Yorkshire Police and The Football League regarding this matter and Leeds United will continue to work with Cardiff City to try and reach a mutually agreeable solution for next season's fixtures, both at Elland Road and at the Cardiff City Stadium."
