Sollecito 'scared' of Kercher murder appeal verdict

The father of Raffaele Sollecito, the Italian student who, along with American Amanda Knox, is challenging his conviction for the murder of Briton Meredith Kercher in Perugia, has been speaking about the appeal hearing.

Dr Francesco Sollecito said he son was "confident but at the same time, scared" over the appeal verdict. He said he son was sensitive, grateful, responsible, and that he just wanted to take him home.

He spoke to Luisa Baldini.
