Nixon archives released almost four decades after Watergate

Almost four decades after the Watergate scandal cost Richard Nixon his presidency, we are learning for the first time what he told a grand jury about the affair.

The US National Archives has finally released transcripts of evidence given by the former president in 1975, the year after he resigned.

Steve Kingstone has been trawling through the transcripts.
