Social networking above the clouds - could it improve flying?

Air travel has always been something of a lottery in terms of who you end up sitting next to.

But soon passengers on the Dutch airline KLM will be invited to share their social media profile before they fly - so that like-minded travellers can choose whether or not to sit with them.

Could it be the recipe for a perfect trip - or a 'flightmare'?
