The Thai dogs that escaped the dinner plate

Authorities in Thailand say that in the last six months they have rescued 2,000 dogs destined for the dinner tables of south east Asia.

Dog meat is a delicacy in parts of Vietnam and China and strays and domestic pets are being snatched from Thai streets before being smuggled abroad.

The BBC's Jonah Fisher reports from Thailand.
