On the campaign trail, nappies in hand

As Icelanders prepare to go the polls to decide who will be their next president, the current incumbent is facing his first serious challenger in 16 years.

Thora Arnorsdottir is a 37-year-old unmarried mother of three, including a four-week-old daughter.

She is already a public figure through her work as a television reporter and is one of five people challenging Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, who is hoping to win a record fifth term.

Luisa Baldini went to meet Ms Arnorsdottir and her baby daughter at their home in Reykjavik to find out why she is running for president.
