What do Americans want from Obama's second term?

Barack Obama has already been formally sworn in for his second term as the 44th president of the United States.

The World At One's Paul Adams is in Washington asking Americans what they want from him over the next four years.

One man attending the inauguration, Mark Harris, said: "Given the economic conditions we were in when he came into office, I'd give him a B [rating]. I'd give him an A if he could bridge the divide with the Republicans a little bit more."

Twelve-year-old Teresa added: "I hope he does better these next four years. I feel as if there needs to be more security around the world."

Another woman, Sarah, said: "I want him to continue to be the president that he is, for the people, by the people, and keep our kids out of war. I think he's a great President."
