'A lot of solitude amongst Kenyans'

Kenyans have been voting in the first general election since 2007 when post-election violence broke out.

Many Kenyans arrived at polling stations very early in the morning and were waiting to vote all day. After casting their ballot, a few voters gave us their views.

The atmosphere is described as buzzing and people seem upbeat despite the long queues.
