Is St Petersburg a good choice for the G20 summit?

World leaders are preparing to gather in the Russian city of St Petersburg for a meeting of G20 nations.

The summit is officially about global economic matters but Syria is likely to dominate proceedings.

The BBC's Jon Sopel is in St Petersburg and looks at the choice of the birthplace of the Russian President Vladimir Putin as the venue for the event.
