A piece of art by Zao Wou-ki sells for a record-breaking $14.72m (12.85m euros; £10.64m) in Sotheby's first major auction to be held in China.

Sotheby's has held its first major auction in China.

It featured a piece of art by Zao Wou-ki - sometimes referred to as the "Chinese Picasso" - which sold for a record-breaking $14.72m (12.85m euros; £10.64m).
