Authorities in Pakistan launch a female-only minibus service between the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad in an attempt to reduce the physical and verbal harassment of women who travel on public transport.

Authorities in Pakistan have launched a minibus service exclusively for women travelling between the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Women in Pakistan often run the risk of being physically and verbally abused while travelling on public transport - but previous attempts to introduce women-only buses in other cities in Pakistan have failed.
