Nomads showcase 'girl chasing' game in Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan is hosting the first official World Nomad Games, to celebrate the tradition and culture of Asia's nomadic tribes.
More than 400 athletes from 20 countries are taking part in the event, which runs until Sunday.
Featured sports include wrestling, archery, Kok Boru - a team game which uses a dead goat as a ball - and "chasing girls on horseback".
BBC News went to meet some of the people taking part in the games.
