Ukraine crisis: Heavy weapons 'moved from Donetsk'

Heavy guns are being moved away from confrontation lines around the Ukrainian rebel stronghold of Donetsk, the BBC understands.

Officials of the self-declared Donetsk People's Republic say the guns are part of a wider withdrawal of heavy weapons demanded by the terms of the internationally-mediated ceasefire agreement reached in Minsk.

Paul Adams, positioned on a road about 20kms away from Donetsk, watched as the heavy weaponry was moved.
