The IS convert who escaped to Syria

Siddartha Dhar grew up in a Hindu family in London, but converted to Islam and became a vocal associate of radical preacher Anjem Choudary and his banned al Muhajiroun group.

He was arrested along with Choudary and eight others in September 2014 on terror charges, but managed to escape the country while on bail and made it to Syria with his young family.

James Longman reports.
