Pope calls for end to persecution of Christians

The Pope has called for an end to the persecution of Christians in conflict, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, in his Easter message.

The Archbishop of Canterbury also talked about the topic, calling those Christians who had died "martyrs".

Pope Francis prayed for the students killed in Kenya and called for more help over the "humanitarian tragedy" in Iraq and Syria.

Caroline Wyatt reports.
