Surgeon: Mandela to be 'monitored closely'

The former South African President, Nelson Mandela, has been discharged from hospital in Johannesburg where he has been receiving treatment for three days.

Surgeon General Vejaynand Ramlakan said Mr Mandela, 92, was in good health, but had been suffering from a respiratory infection.
