Nato agrees to command aerial operations over Libya

Nato has agreed to take immediate command of all aerial operations to combat Colonel Gaddafi's forces in Libya.

Meeting in Brussels, Nato ambassadors said their goal was to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas under threat of attack from the Gaddafi regime.
