Egyptians call for protection amid sectarian clashes

The military authorities in Egypt have increased security around churches in Cairo because of the clashes between Christians and Muslims on Saturday that left 12 people dead.

It was the latest in a series of confrontations between Christians and Muslims since the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak.
