Tensions running high in Egypt

Authorities in Egypt have extended the detention of the country's former president Hosni Mubarak.

His departure was forced by mass protests on the streets of the capital as people demanded democratic rights and reforms.

But the pace of change is proving to be slow as the BBC's Jeremy Bowen reports.
