Rebels call for Nato to step up campaign in Misrata
The British military effort in Libya will continue for "as long as required" according to the Defence Secretary Liam Fox.
He spoke after the head of the Royal Navy warned that there were "challenging decisions" ahead if the Libyan operation stretched into the autumn.
In Libya opposition forces have called for Nato to step up its campaign.
In the city of Misrata they have said fighters and civilians are still being killed by Gaddafi's forces.
