South Sudan raises national flag

South Sudan's new flag has been raised at an independence ceremony in the capital Juba, watched by tens of thousands of people.

Salva Kiir signed the constitution and took his oath of office in front of the jubilant crowds, officially becoming president of the world's newest nation.
