Gaddafi spokesman claims Tripoli in control of government

A spokesman for Col Gaddafi has said that the fighting has subsided and the Libyan government now controls the majority of Tripoli.

Moussa Ibrahim claimed that pro-Gaddafi forces were in charge of around 80% of the capital.

Rebels also claim overall control of Tripoli as fighting has resumed in the streets.
