Libyan rebel forces advance on Sirte

Libyan rebels have been pushing towards the town of Sirte, where thousands of Gaddafi loyalists are thought to preparing to make a last stand.

The opposition forces are now just 100 kilometres away having already taken the town of Ras Lanuf.

Paul Wood is following the rebels approaching from the eastern side of the town.
