Libya: Rebels prepare to battle for Sirte

A deadline set by the Libyan rebels for the loyalist-held town of Sirte to surrender, or face all out assault, expires on Saturday.

The rebels are still some miles either side of Sirte, on both the eastern and the western approaches.

The BBC's Paul Wood is with rebel forces on the eastern approach.
