Libya unrest: Anti-Gaddafi forces begin fight for Sirte

Anti-Gaddafi forces in Libya have entered the outskirts of the coastal city of Sirte, according to the interim authorities.

Fighters had breached defences south and west of the city, one of the last places still loyal to Colonel Gaddafi, on Thursday evening, but heavy resistance is reported.
