West Africa meets for climate talks

Officials from across West Africa have been meeting in Nigeria to discuss the impact of the continent's changing climate.

Many delegates called for western nations to honour financial pledges to help poorer countries cope with changes in the weather.

The conference in Lagos is part of preparations for the next round of the United Nations-sponsored talks due to start in South Africa in November.
