Egypt protests: One dead in Cairo's Tahrir Square

One person has died and more than 670 have been injured in clashes between police and protesters in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Officers were trying to break up a sit in when the violence broke out in Tahrir Square.

Security forces have now withdrawn, but the situation remains tense.

The BBC's Wendy Urquhart reports.
