DR Congo election results are delayed

Publication of presidential election results in the DR Congo has been delayed by 48 hours because of technical difficulties, officials have said.

Thousands of people have been fleeing the country and riot police are patrolling the capital, Kinshasa, amid fears that the election result could spark violence.
