The naming of Gbarnga
Flomo T Barwor is looking forward to his hundredth birthday this year.
He can claim to have lived through more of the history of Gbarnga than most, having been a traditional chief in Gbarnga for 50 years, working his way up to become Paramount Chief for the area covering Gbarnga and Dakpana - chief of all chiefs for the whole of Liberia - a role he took over from former warlord and president Charles Taylor.
He has a profound connection to Gbarnga - the town was founded by his father in the 1920s. He explains the story of how the town got its name.
