Niger's malnutrition crisis reaches new level

Save the Children says serious malnutrition has spread throughout the West African state of Niger, despite giving warnings about the situation for many months.

The charity says the crisis, which extends across the countries of the Sahel region, has reached a new level and it is moving to introduce an emergency response.
